For a latch I ordered a stainless toggle latch should be here soon. As far as capacity I went overboard on gusseting and tying into the frame so
I'm confident that it's way stronger than stock and I have towed over 7000 lbs on it already

Made some progress on the swing out just gotta wire the licence plate light. Works well and has no sag to it so overall happy with how it turned out.

Thanks, the way I set it up is the swing out is sitting on a welded on piece of pipe as a catch so the clamp doesn't support any weight. The hinge is awesome very smooth for sure. Not sure yet if I like the fact all the time that it pins itself open when you swing it open.

Also need to install the locker in the front clamshell. Got quoted $625 to install the locker even if I just bring the clamshell... for that $$ I'm gonna do some research and hopefully tackle it myself

I heard the front isn't that hard compared to the rear to do.

Ran into an interesting problem installing the rear 3rd member, the driveshaft flange on the 2001 tundra is considerably smaller than the flange from my 2005 so I'm gonna swap my original one over. Didn't realize there would be a difference but that means the DC tundras have a larger flange yoke as well.
Also installed a longer stainless rear brake line while I had it apart to try and improve pedal feel

No wonder the tundra has so little aftermarket support. To many variations
