Nice looking 109-the fuel gauge just be a gunked up sender, I had the same issue and after some elbow grease and solvent it's back to normal-ish.

Thanks for the tip Matt, I just don't have time for it anymore. When I bought it I had no kids, now I have 3 kids and all the sports, playdates, etc. I use it once every couple of weeks for a mail run, and the big event of the year, driving to the antique plane fly in at the Del Mar polo fields. It looks nice sitting on the field with the old planes!

That's a shame but I know what you mean. I wish I had the $$.

I bet it did look quite proper in the field with the vinatge aircraft- did you get a shot of it beside a spitfire?

Exactly my situation (damn kids! ;)). My '61 was restored in about '00 and, other than a few relatively minor issues, it's in great shape... BUT, I never drive it. Just languishing in the garage with occasional errand or drive to work. Been seriously considering selling myself.

Nice truck. Good luck with the sale and move!

I can't believe this is still for sale.

I just showed the pics to my wife and said: "C'mon honey, do you really want to be 90 years old someday and realize you've never owned a 1964 Land Rover?"

She said: "Good point. Let me think about that one..." :)

I wish I could buy it. Absolutely freakin' classic, but I'm afraid I cannot afford the repair bills on these things... If I have to ask how much it cost to keep these trucks running, I can't afford it.
