1970s land rover 4 door, been sitting a long time. Can it be brought back?

If you want a series, call Ike Goss and buy one of his.

You cut the crap and buy a truck that actually works. Sure you spend a bit more up front but you save money vs. a restoration and you get to enjoy it rather than screw around with a pain in the rear for 2~10 years.

That is how I got my Dormobile. I would second this 100%. I started with a rolling project that was above my skill level and it was never driven really. A trip here and there between major repairs.

Starting with a clean slate allows me to drive it daily now and it really did not cost too much more to get to this point.

Its not I want one as in I am going hunting for a 109, even though they are awesome looking rigs. its more like, I have seen it there for 5 or 6 years now. If its solid, I would spend the time on working on it myself. and in the end have a cool rig to drive around in. I have a bunch of rigs now, and god knows I don't NEED another. However, I look at this 109 every day 4-10 times a day as I drive up the road and it is saying to me, take me home and drive me! I may be able to trade my Jaugar xj12 for it. hmmmmmm. He has an E type on a trailer out back!
