This 1971 Ford F-250 custom short-bed 3/4-ton 8-lug 2-wheel drive pickup is finished in Lipstick Red over Wimbledon White.

Powered by a NEW FE 390ci 8-cylinder engine mated to a rebuilt heavy-duty C6 automatic transmission with a shift kit. The engine is outfitted with Edelbrock manifold and carburetor and new headers that flow out of a 3 inch Flowmaster exhaust. It’s also been equipped with a new 3-row high-efficiency radiator with electric fans and heavy-duty power steering, winters gate shifter. The aftermarket AUTOFAB twin I-beam front end has been completely gone through with new kingpins, bushings, bearings, disc brake and rotors, and new double front shocks, while the Dana 60 rear end features new drum brakes and shocks. It has a fiberglass hood and bulged fiberglass fenders from AUTOFAB.

The undercarriage, frame and subframe are clean, POR15, and there is no rust in the sheet metal or frame. The frame was professionally shortened from 131” to 115, steps were made to enter the cab, which are removable with one bolt on each side, and the floors have been lined in a roll-on bedliner. Inside, this pickup features Black Ostrich sun visors and rear panel where the gas tank was removed, a new billet digital gauge cluster, brake controller, GPS speedometer, fuel level and volt gauges mounted under the dash. New painless wiring harness and fuse block. New windshield and rear window glass, and new window rubbers and felts.

Aftermarket retrosound head unit with satellite radio, hands free/BT capability, polk speakers and subwoofer behind bench. Alarm system with powered lock and unlock key fobs. An aftermarket custom bench seat was installed and upholstered in plaid and Black Ostrich. The gas tank was relocated to the front of the bed and replaced with a toolbox/tank combo unit, 62 gallon. The fabricated steel-floored bed features a B&W Gooseneck removable 2-5/16” ball that is welded and braced into it, 7-way plugs and a storage compartment under the spare tire. This custom pickup also features a class-5 hitch welded into the rear bumper, vintage Cibie H4 headlights with LED bulbs, led reverse light bar and driving lights. BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires, 38x14.50 wrapped around Pro Comp wheels. This truck began life as a Camper Special model.

Have paperwork for engine that was installed not too long ago, has about 700 miles on it. The build is high quality and its as clean as they come. A vehicle I have been eyeing for a while has become available so passing this truck along. (Relatively open to trades if of interest, but make sure it's at least similar in value/quality) Needs nothing, very reliable and comfortable driver. Able to support the buyers shipping arrangements
