1974 Appleby, Luxe-O-Expo Trailer.

I am working on an Appleby procurement near me. My plans are to mount the Appleby box above a trailer just big enough for my ATV. Idea being a combination light enough to hook up to my atv and surf fish the NC outer banks.

How much of the internal volume is taken up when you're packed up? The shape of the sides doesn't really lend itself to it but wondering if a slide out kitchen would work. If the poles and mattresses fill up the middle then anything like that won't work. The other thing I'd do, and again your chassis doesn't look suitable, is to add storage under the tent floor and use that for your kitchen etc.

As stated above, I have figured out how to remove those from the inside and mount them elsewhere. Obviously I need a kitchen of some kind. I have almost finished designing storage for fishing gear as well. I'll have some sketches soon.

Didn't realize the canvas totally came off as some similar things I've seen keep it on when packed. Will wait for your sketches.

Version one.

Sorry for the delay in getting a sketch up. I am swamped with school and work stuff. I have decided to extend the saddles beyond the front of the Appleby to create additional storage up front. I also threw on some rock sliders. Btw, I apologize for the way my last reply read. Didn't mean for it to come off that way. Need to re-read things I use talk-to-text on. Anyways, let me know what you guys think so far.

Tires and tarps.

Added the old tires from the 4runner. I also built a frame and added a tarp and sidewalls. It made for a nice spot to chill in the 112° weather at D-Day this year.

Don't know if anyone is interested, but I am going to be making some big changes to the trailer. I have left the trailer the same for years. It works, but I need a quicker set up time for my camp site. Between the tent and the kitchen it takes me like an hour. I also have an 85 4runner that I am building out, so I can ditch the trailer altogether. But I need a camp set up until I finish the 4runner later this year, and the trailer will be cheaper and quicker to do. I'm still open to ideas if you got them.
