Located in Olympia, Washington. This is a raw, unmolested, 1979 Ford Econoline 350, 4 wheel drive, 7.3 Diesel engine with approximately 45,000 miles. This ambulance is extremely well built for off-road use. The ambulance was originally built to be used as a wildland fire ambulance for a fire department at the base of Mount Rainier in Washington State.
I purchased the vehicle with the intent to convert to a family adventure overland vehicle, my plans have changed. The ambulance runs and drives very good. The frame is very solid build, box is very strong aluminum with 1 1/4" square tube frame.
Engine: 7.3 diesel with ONLY 45,000 miles!!!!! The alternator is also aftermarket and very large. I don't know the make or model but it looks nice and expensive.
Chassis: 4x4, 1 ton dually, new mud tires, and original factory lift. The chassis is built like a tank.
It is currently registered in Washington State as a collector vehicle... so no yearly licensing fee for as long as you own the vehicle! If you are seriously interested in buying, message and I can send more pictures and videos.
$35k, OBO.
