Thanks mate, just rebuilt the engine last month. It runs well, still needs lots of body work and paint. These little trucks can keep you rather busy...

poked a hole through the bottom of the truck on friday and its been bugging the crap outta me (there was no apparent rot) so today i grinded all the paint away and found a hole on each side. went and got a fiberglass repair kit and "fixed" them. ive never used fiberglass before so this was new and i dont know if i like it yet. also bedcoated the bottom afterwords for some fresh paint and to hide my fix

Mine has the same hole! One of these days I am gonna weld in some sheet metal! One of these days... For now I need to replace the wheel bearings. Keep up the good work! Your truck is coming along rather well.

thanks for the compliments guys and i dont know if i really like how i fixed the holes yet, i think i may cut it back out and stuff i with fiberglass first then cover it with fiberglass because it has some give atm and if someone touchs it hard enough its going through

I think LMC truck still sells a complete wled in replacement for those quarter panels that always rust out on these trucks.

because id much rather do it myself and save some money

If you haven't yet, check out ExplorerForum. Lots of information there - and they have a Bronco II section!

will do! thanks

$85 isn't bad, I paid $100 to have mine removed and resealed. It beats having wet carpets!

currently im doing rear brakes so its stopping me from getting it done this weekend and the fact that i dont wanna be broke another week in a row. gotta start saving for winter semester so gotta be a little wiser with money. hopefully next week itll be sealed!

didnt realize that was you, ive read your build thread. it really is but honestly i love working on it most of the time, theyre fairly simple and so far it hasnt taken much to get it to where i want it. idk if its just me but its a very pride giving truck. also seriously...just send me your brushguard ill gladly take it lol where did you get it at?

The brush guard came from a B2 I came across at the local pull-a-part. Cost me a whomping ten dollars! It is a Ford part that came on a special edition Bronco iI. Here is a picture of what it looked like from the factory.

There is a lot of pride in owning such a cool little truck, there are so few of em left on the road now, they are very capable off-road and the list of mods is endless!
