Here is my truck so far. its an 87 burban with 4 inch lift and 33's tires. now i can fit 37's under it. it has a 14 bolt rear with 4.10's and 10 bolt up front. 56 inch long rear springs. 350 TBI and a Muncie 4 speed rockcrusher tranny. a homemade 4'x8'x8" rack on top. and a Warn 8274 winch. 7 offroad lights in front and 2 facing the rear. ive been on at 54 different trail in Colorado that i can list and tons that i dont know the name of. i have had the truck for 5 years now and replaced almost everything on it. the truck came with the factory hub caps and the first pic is after the new wheels.the second pic is after lift and rack.

Nice burb!

Do you have any more upgrades planned for it?

I'd love to make it back to Colorado in the winter to do some snow wheeling. That's something we haven't gotten very much of here the past couple years.

Nice Suburban! It is definitely a rare animal to find a stick shift in a Sub.

It tried to post to the frontrange4x4 forum before but they are full of members and aren’t accepting newbie’s as it seems.

Looks good.

Making me mad as I am trying to find a barn door 3/4 4x4 to replace my 88 R20 454. Than I plan to sawzall the roof and make it into a motorhome. :ylsmoke:

How did you get a crusher in there? You running a divorced case?

Man I would pull the Rock crusher and get a SM465 or better yet a NV4500 (over drive) for a better granny gear. M22's really don't have that low of a 1st gear.

Sell that Rock crusher to some muscle car gear head like me for my 70 drop top Poncho. :smiley_drive:

no i havent started that mess yet with the taillights . the scouts wiring is melted under dash and looks like a bowl of spagetti at the back of it. ive been using hand signals for brake lights.

I'd rethink the locker for the front and the 38's unless you upgrade your shafts/u-joints.

I had a posi in the front with 35's on a K5 and broke 10bolt shafts every trip until I went to a Dana 60. With the added weight of the burb, I can only imagine it would be worse.

Edit: I also had problems with ball joints.
