Started life as a high end 4x4 conversion van and over the past 25 years has evolved into a nice weekend warrior adventure rig. Ready for its next chapter with new owners or a full build out for full time van living.

Much of the original conversion van interior has been modified to make this vehicle highly practical for outdoor use.
Modular interior setup with 4 different options for seating: 1. Full 7 passenger capacity of front and mid captains chairs with rear bench 2. Middle seats removed for cargo room and rear bench left in place 3. Bench seat relocated from rear to the side 4. All seats removed for maximum gear or cargo carrying. This vehicle drives great on the highway with all new tie rod ends and MOOG progressive front springs, although steering box does have a little play with on straight stretches of road.

Key Features:
* 4x4 Quigley Conversion w/ paperwork (D44 front axle, Warn Gold Series hubs, and manual transfer case with factory 3.73 gearing, LSD rear)
*351 Windsor V8 (5.8 L)
*E40D transmission
* Sportsmobile Penthouse top with bed and upgraded platform (lets you sleep "upstairs" but also stows up and out of the way to let you completely stand up inside)
* Both front seats pivot on swivels to turn and face the rear
*Bench seat converts to second bed can be mounted in far rear facing forward or behind driver seat facing out side doors
*Captains chairs are the most comfortable seats I've ever experienced
* Fork mount bike racks inside of van
* ARB awning over side doors on passenger side
* Toyo All Terrain tires all around with 5 new American Racing wheels from Discount Tire
* Only 157,XXX miles
* Gets 14 mpg on the highway
*Class V Receiver Hitch (although never used to tow)

Conversion Updates:
* Floor painted with POR-15, covered with plywood for insulation, with a rubber mat on top
* Aluminum track added for modular mounting of equipment
* Old wiring removed from old VCR and random electronics, and all new wiring done correctly with proper fuses, relays, crimps or solder, and insulation
* Sound deadener added on interior side panels
* New carpeted panels installed in rear
* Insulation in the body panels
* Pull down accordion blinds / shades for all rear windows (far rear driver side blind recently failed - needs to be “rethreaded”
* Key pieces of original wood trim interior maintained

Interior options:
* Leather (maroon) over space age comfort foam
* Power locks w/ key fob
* Heated seats
* Power side view mirrors
* Power rear view mirror (compass and temp readings displayed)
* Heat + AC (both work great) AC is colder than my 2018 4Runner.
* Aftermarket stereo w/ aux input (no Bluetooth)
* Custom Wood center console

Upgrades not already listed:
*Custom exhaust with MagnaFlow muffler
* Pop-open windows on rear doors
* Sliding rear side windows
* Optima Red Top battery
* Pre-wired for lights (Rigid Industries harnesses, relays, and switches for front and rear lights)
* Rearview camera w/ monitor
* Aluminess aluminum spare tire carrier (welded/braced/painted)
* Aluminess rear ladder
* Yakima roof racks
* Smittybilt fuel carrier (includes NATO jerry can by Wavian); adapted to fit rear ladder
* All new interior LED lighting

Notable recent maintenance (within recent timeline or mileage):
* Tie rod ends
* Oil and air filter changes + spark plugs
* New radiator and fan clutch
* Steering box
* Transmission cooler lines
* Front rotors and wheel bearings
* ABS controller
* Leaf spring bushings and add a leaf in rear
* Heavier front springs
* Alternator
* Front brake calipers and hoses
* Idler pulley
*Serpentine belt and tensioner
* Rear axle seals, brake drums, bearings and shoes

The prior two owners were very meticulous and performed a ton of preventative maintenance on the vehicle because they, like myself, wanted high reliability and a solid platform for getting out into the hills.
This vehicle needs nothing to go but a driver.

Known issues:
* Horn not hooked up (previously wired to alarm siren) - relay works, just need to hook up horn or alarm speaker
* Compass slightly off and needs recalibrated; could be a result of 90% of the metal roof being removed and replaced with the fiberglass Sportsmobile roof
* Overhead LED light flickers during hard bumps off road (door switch contacts need cleaned; removal of roof section reduced body stiffness, so there's more flex)
* Separate key for ignition and doors (new ignition cylinder uses new key)
* Original sweet paint job with purple outdoor scenery covered by a pretty poor quality yellow or desert tan colored paint; it's plenty functional and looks good from far, but not the best - great for off-road use though
* Rear interior LED cover missing (lights work fine)
* Seat wear on driver and passenger seats (patched/repaired)
* Minor surface oxidation/ rust on undercarriage from being a former MN vehicle prior to NM transplant
* Cruise control does not work
*Slow oil leak around pan seal; not enough to have to mess with in my opinion
*Cracked rear entry plastic trim
*Speedometer gets ‘jumpy’ over 70mph, so there is about a 5 mph margin of error

I have a few questions. Can you outline the seatbelt options for the different seating configurations? Are the seats all clipped in and out, or are they bolted in and need to be unbolted to change configurations? In some of the pictures, the "upgraded upper bed platform" seems to be taking up headroom, but in at least one picture is seems to be removed. Is there a way for that platform to be held up out of the way without removal? It is an interesting looking setup and I am in the market for a van!

the two middle row captain’s chairs mount in quick- release style brackets that are flush with the floor. Each has a three point safety belt.

The bench seat has been converted to mount on integrated L-Tracks: either in a third row forward facing configuration or sideways facing behind drivers seat. I still have the belts and male ends but missing the female ends of the rear belts. One could likely find the missing pieces at a junk yard.

The bed platform can be lifted fully up and out if the way if desired suspended on a hook and wire system. To be able to stand up fully in the van.

Have you troubleshot the cruise control? It should have fly by wire, right? Or does it need the double redundancy for brakes that requires replacing some of the other brake components?
