***SOLD***
1995 Ford Econoline E150
Quigley Factory 4x4 Conversion
Sportsmobile Pop-Top Penthouse
351 Winsor EFI (5.8 liter) V8 gas
163,XXX miles
Priced for quick sale at $26,000
Location: Santa Fe NM

Started life as a luxury 4x4 conversion van and over the past 25 years has evolved into a very capable adventure van.
I’ve owned the Van since March 2018.

Much of the original conversion van interior has been modified to make this vehicle highly practical for outdoor use.
Modular interior setup with 4 different configurations for seating and cargo capacity.
Optional full 7 passenger capacity with all seats in place or remove them all for cargo van capabilities in about 5 minutes.

The vehicle drives great on the highway with new tie rod ends and MOOG progressive front springs, although steering box does have a little play, which is typical of Fords from this era. High clearance, good tires, low range gearing, and relatively light weight make this very capable off-road to get the the most remote camp sights.

Key Features:
* 4x4 Quigley Conversion w/ paperwork (D44 front axle, Warn Gold Series manual hubs, and manual transfer case with factory 3.73 gearing) *Dual Range Transfer Case
*Limited Slip Rear Differential
*351 Windsor V8 (5.8 L)
*E40D transmission
* Sportsmobile Penthouse top with bed and upgraded platform (lets you sleep "upstairs" but also stows up and out of the way to let you completely stand up inside)
* Both front seats pivot on swivels to turn and face the rear
*Bench seat converts to second bed can be mounted in far rear or behind driver seat facing sideways.
*Captains chairs are incredibly comfortable for long drives or bouncing around off-road
* ARB awning over side doors on passenger side
* Five new Cooper Evolution MT 33x12.5” on American Racing wheels from Discount Tire
Full size spare on matching rim
* Only 163,XXX miles
* Gets 14 mpg on the secondary highways at 55-65 mph
Drops to 12 mpg at sustained 80 mph
*Class V Receiver Hitch

Conversion Updates:
* Floor painted with POR-15, covered with plywood for insulation and build out options with a rubber mat on top
* Aluminum tracks added for modular mounting of bench seat or other equipment
* Old wiring removed from old VCR and random electronics, and all new wiring done correctly with proper fuses, relays, crimps or solder, and insulation
* Sound deadener added on interior side panels
* New carpeted panels installed in rear
* Insulation in the body panels
* Pull down accordion blinds / shades for all rear windows (far rear driver side blind recently failed - needs to be “rethreaded”
* Key pieces of original wood trim interior maintained

Interior options:
* Maroon Leather
* Power windows and locks
* Heated seats
* Power side view mirrors
* Power rear view mirror (compass and temp readings displayed)
* Heat + AC (both work great)
* Aftermarket stereo w/ aux input (no Bluetooth)
* Custom Wood center console

Upgrades not already listed:
*Custom exhaust with MagnaFlow muffler
* Optima Red Top battery
* Pre-wired for lights (Rigid Industries harnesses, relays, and switches for front and rear lights)
* Rearview camera w/ monitor
* Aluminess aluminum spare tire carrier (welded/braced/painted)
* Aluminess rear ladder
* Yakima cross bar roof rack
* Smittybilt fuel carrier (includes NATO jerry can by Wavian); adapted to fit rear ladder
* All new interior LED lighting

Notable recent maintenance (within recent timeline or mileage):
*New Battery and wipers
*Tie rods and ends
* Oil and air filter changes + spark plugs
* New radiator and fan clutch
* Steering box
* Transmission cooler lines and filter
* Front rotors and wheel bearings
* ABS controller
* Leaf spring bushings and add a leaf in rear
* Heavier front springs progressive rate
* Alternator
* Front brake calipers and hoses
* Idler pulley
*Serpentine belt and tensioner
* Rear axle seals, brake drums, bearings and shoes

The prior two owners were very meticulous and performed a ton of preventative maintenance on the vehicle because they, like myself, wanted high reliability and a solid platform for getting out into the hills.

Known issues:
* Horn not hooked up (previously wired to alarm siren)
* Compass slightly off and needs recalibrated; could be a result of 90% of the metal roof being removed and replaced with the fiberglass Sportsmobile roof
* Overhead LED light flickers during hard bumps off road (door switch contacts need cleaned; removal of roof section reduced body stiffness, so there's more flex)
* Separate key for ignition and doors (new ignition cylinder uses new key)
* Original paint job with purple outdoor scenery covered by a pretty poor quality yellow or desert tan colored paint; it's plenty functional and looks good from far, but not the best ; great for off-road use though
* Rear interior LED cover missing (lights work fine)
* Seat wear on driver and passenger seats (patched/repaired)
* Minor surface oxidation/ rust on undercarriage from being a former MN vehicle prior to NM transplant
*rear quarter panel beginning to rust
* Cruise control does not work
*Slow oil leak around pan seal; not enough to have to mess with in my opinion
*Speedometer gets ‘jumpy’ over 70mph, so there is about a 5 mph margin of error
*Slow battery drain when parked longer than a few days I kept it charged with Solar Panel while camping.

Potential to include a Dometic sink and 12v refrigerator for overland status
