1996 Disco need help to fix

hey everyone i have run into a problem with my 1996 Discovery that i have. its been sitting for about 8 months because of many resions but i want to get her back on the road. i had to put a fuel pump in her i did the chevy fuel pump conversion and it ran great right when i turned it over. But when i droped her in gear it starts to miss realy bad and will not run smoth till i get to about 2800 rpms. if anyone has a good idea of whats wroung please let me know. Thanks

Wrong Fuel Pump Sam! 1989 Chevy Cavalier V6. Make sure it is a V6 pump sounds like you got a 4cylinder pump with not enough volume.

i can try that one but i got the one for a 1991 5.7l chevy should be enough i though but i can change it out again. But why would it get better when it get the rpms up?
