So I like the idea of this, but where does the co-pilot sit? I'm assuming with the glass it gets a bit chilly overnight, or is there any insulation in it? How's the road noise? I'm in the market for a high top 4x4 van, which technically this works, I just really hadn't considered a school bus up to this point.

Copilot gets the swivel seat, its about a foot further back than a normal seat would be, but thats so you can still use the stairs.

The bus body is insulated, but it can get a bit chilly at night. Insulated curtains might work, but I just use a good sleeping bag.

Road noise isnt too bad, a little wind noise from the bus body. The 7.3 is pretty loud, but you can still talk to people in the bus with no issues.

If you have any questions about overall dimensions or anything else, feel free to text me.

I have a ton of these buses. Reliability isn't an issue at all. The steel body and steel frame along with a great 4x4 conversion make this a great combo.

Bump. Just did an overhaul of the 7.3. New injectors, glow plugs, and harnesses. Injectors are waranteed for 3 years.
