Having an issue with my trans lately and was looking for help or advise. Fluid level is good and newish so I don't think that's it. So when I'm in 4hi it shifts smooth and goes into OD at around 45mph and all is good. For some reason when I'm in two wheel drive it shifts in OD at around 30-35mph and falls on it's face!! Won't drop down unless I give it more gas or slow below 30mph. The kickdown is adjust to FSM specs. I'm just not sure where to start looking as it drives great in 4hi and shifts/maintains speed like it used to in 2 wheel drive. Does the converter lock up in 4hi? Any suggestions?
