Well since the "ebay" tents are the same, what should i search for on ebay to find one?

"Roof Top Tent" but I dont know if it will help you in the US, there are plenty here in Australia as it is a fairly common thing as we do so much trade with Asia.

This is the same as the package I bought

But a quick search of US ebay turns up two compared to pages and pages on Australian ebay and those two are dearer than here and tent only.
