200,338 miles and counting

Over the weekend I was up at the foothills of the Sierras picking up my new set of slightly worn MTRs from a friend. My odometer clicked over to 200,000 miles.

Quite an accomplishment from a vehicle that was leaking oil from the valve cover and numerous other holes. Regular oil changes and care has taken my Trooper to 200,000miles. Can't wait to take this out on a real trail this summer!!

I'm going for another 200k miles before I rebuild this engine. :sombrero:

Congrats on your milestone!!!

I'm at 167,000 and add less than a 1/2 quart per 3,000 mile oil change - sometimes it requires no top off at all between oil changes.

I consider Oil food for my engine...It likes to eat, and at 20 years old and 190,000 miles I keep her well fed...

Plus: she can run with the new dogs just fine.
