Selling my regular body 2000 Ford Sportsmobile. $66,500 Get it while it's hot!

215k miles
Conversion was done at 185k miles, meaning all new axles, transfer case, and trans rebuild 30k miles ago.
I have every receipt from the time the van was new. I am the 4th owner. Been garaged its whole life.
Runs like a swiss watch, shifts seamlessly, and drives comfortably with no wobble or wandering.

This is a very rare opportunity to own one of these, as Agile Offroad only converted a very limited number of vans. These vans are coveted for their off-road abilities and on-road driving manners. The ride quality compared to Quigley, Quadvan, UJOINT, Sportsmobile, Advanced, and all the others is night and day. (https://agileoffroad.com/4x4-conversion/)

Hi Nate,
I have never used belts on the bench so I am not certain but I believe there are three. If there aren't any, it would be a minor job for yourself or a specialist to install some lap belts.

Hi MTAA,

yes I do. The top bed secures to the PH top with straps and is tucked up out of the way until you lower it.
There is no toilet included, but there is a designated Porta Potti cabinet at the passenger rear. A new Thetford toilet can be had for <$200

Hey there @bisonthecruiser

The galley fan is the option that comes on nearly all Sportsmobiles of the era. I can't recall who makes it, but there are likely better (quieter, more speed settings, lower draw) options out there.

Hope this helps.

Hi @catherine_b

I’ve wondered the same but never actually checked the Sportsmobile build paperwork. I’ve never personally seen a SMB model this of this era with such a modern interior aesthetic so it is entirely possible that it was not built out when new.

I will take a look at the SMB documentation the next time I go to the van. I store it in a warehouse about an hour drive away.

Those Sportsmobile interiors seems like they haven't changed much so it's hard to tell, but some of the details looks pretty similar to a Sportsmobile interior I had that was built in 2013 I think, so I was thinking it might have been built out later. It's an awesome looking van. We were looking for a truck camper, but saw this and thought we might change our mind! The van has California plates, but now you are in Colorado? Are the photos taken recently?

Yeah, I’ve only seen this interior style from early 6.0’s and onward (2003+). I’m now pretty curious to find out myself!

my EP profile hasn’t been updated in years. I live in SoCal, and the van is stored indoors in Irvine. The photos were taken a few months ago and reflect the van’s current condition.

if you would like to chat further, PM me and we can exchange phone #/email

Had it inspected, and it passed with flying colors aside from a very slight front axle seal leak and a leaking plug in driver rear tire. Will either have the plug fixed or install 4 new tires depending on buyer's preferences.

There was the question of whether the SMB conversion was done at the time the van was new or if it was performed later on since the interior has newer styling than most of its era.
This purchase order from Shepherd's Ford shows that it was built out as a new van at SMB Indiana.
Agile 4x4 conversion was performed in 2016. 30k miles since that install
