-Alignment 7/2016

This has been a great rig and didn't see as much off road as it was set up for, mostly hunting and camping in CO.

It has never broken down. Has random, small leak of oil, but not enough to warrant repair. Only other issue I can think of is it probably needs new rotors which are included (brakes pulse noticeably).

Asking $4,000 obo. It’s a lot of truck for the money!

Located on front range of Colorado. Happy to help with shipping, I've done it many, many times. It's easy and affordable.

What kind of costs to ship to Southern California? Which side of the Rocky's is considered "front"? More specifically, whats the closest large airport?

Sorry about the "front" comment - I'll clarify that!

I can be anywhere with the vehicle from Ft Collins to Denver. Denver would be closest airport, in fact my place is 20 mins away.

I'd say $600 to $800 on shipping. Want me to get a better quote?

Love these old Monteros. 3 trucks and 2 motorcycles leaves no room for anything else at this point though.

This is almost exactly what I am looking for, timing isn’t the best as I’m backpacking Asia for 6 months starting in August...

I know Colorado usually doesn't have rust issues but I have to ask. Any rust? Any pictures of the undercarriage? Trust it to drive to the wrong coast? Sunroof work?

Edit: Sorry the sunroof pic showing it open wasn't loading for me. Now I see it.

I can try to grab undercarriage soon - most likely Wednesday.

No rust. It’s a great rig - I love it - but it’s one of 6 current cars and it probably should be enjoyed.

I FAILED to mention one thing - the driver rear door mechanism broke over the winter when I didnt realize the door was froze. It only opens from the inside now until the latch can be replaced.

My apologies for that omission in the original post!

I’m an honest person and my reputation here and everywhere, is worth more to me than someone’s disappointment.

Sorry if you’ve already contacted me and this changes your interest level.

Folks one more update - I have a really interested person that I’ve spoken with.

I’m currently in a holding pattern with them pending an inspection.

I’ll commit to sharing the results with the community here as a benefit for the group!
