The spring mod list

shakle lift in the rear crank the bars a bit in front
Monroe reflex monotubes (KYB there now, and not bad, but the Monroe is a better shock at controlling off road situations)
airlift airbags in the rear for towing trailers
Nfab light bar
Hella 500 hid converted
Hella 500 fog with selective yellow bulbs
Hidden winch mount and winch
roof rack mounted on the cap for kayaks/bikes etc.
Waterproof the rear of the truck again and install new liner inside
put some sort of tool/storage box in rear
adding Siriusxm and new stereo
Mount for our GPS/NAV tablet
install cb radio
new saddle blanket seat covers..(old school cool)
Hella 2.0 headlight bulbs in new lightning light housings
flush mount LED reverse lights in bumper
LED lighting inside truck cap

I'm sure theres more I will think of after and add to the list. But it will be an awesome hunting/camping/tow rig.

Cool...this is a great platform to build a rig off as far as I am concerned. Way ahead of the chev vehicles and dodge vehicles of the same era.

Look forward to your progress, nice looking truck!

Guess that makes at least 3 of us in this Ford era, mine is a 99, F-150, XLT, 4x4 with 85K on the clock now. I think Ford designed a pretty good truck, better than I could design one for multiple purposes, so I'm going pretty much as is with a few exceptions, might crank the bar, 275 or 285 KO shoes on stock wheels, headlights and tail lights updated, might throw a grill on it. Inside gets a big face lift, thinking bucket seats and console, dash customized a bit, 8" Alpine Nav/media center, 2 HAM rigs, CB, dual battery and inverter, might do a fridge in the back seat with storage for an on-the road kitchen, and I guess I'll toss some lights on. The other end will have custom hard/soft tentage made for the lifted hard top, on board air, running water/storage, queen bed and slide out kitchen. My trailer is getting a make over at the same time, more on that later, it's going to be fun doing and watching you guys with yours. I'll learn how to post pics here, so far they aren't taking. :( :coffeedrink:

Your double cab looks great.

I am planning on doing a hidden winch this summer.
I installed Yakima tracks on my fiberglass cap and am planning some for the cab roof.
I am building a drawer for the bed currently.
I stuck a CB in my dash.
Very interested in the flush bumper lights

Yes these are fun camping and hunting rigs! I am looking forward to your progress. It reminds me that I need to update my own build thread.

Just cut two holes in your bumper and mount them in! good to go!

I just cut two holes in my F150 bumper last weekend. I had trimmed some plastic pieces here and there, but never took a grinder to one of my vehicles before :Wow1: I will wire flush mount lights this Friday.

:coffeedrink: going to watch your build. I had a 2003 step side, one of the best trucks I owned, made it 224,000 miles. Just not big enough for my kit, learned that when I went moose hunting and had to climb my old $&@ in the back and try to sleep. Key word being old
