ENGINE:
Replaced original (slipped bearing in bottom end) with engine refurbished by County Rove in Portland, Oregon. Here's what they had to say about the engine refurb:
"Its a 4.6L V8 from a P38 Range Rover which are more sound blocks than the DII 4.6L blocks. . .thoroughly cleaned/gone through:

1) Machine/decked heads according to spec/tolerance, port/polish, new stem seals and head bolts
2) New gaskets, o-rings, seals (including front/rear mains)
3) New timing chain, sprocket, gear and water pump

All work was performed out of the vehicle, on an engine stand."

Swapped out at 110,841 miles

Just back from a 20 day rafting trip through the Grand Canyon - apologies for any missed correspondence. The Disco is still for sale.
