To late Rozzi - a friend of mine is flying down to meet Nathan today to pick-up this excellent truck. Hopefully Kevin (the new owner) will be here soon and hopefully as well we will continue to see Nathan here and on the trails.

I'm very interested. I live in British Columbia. My son lives in San Francisco. I would purchase it for him(he has a "99" landcruiser and does a awful lot of offroading in CA). How do you want to proceed?

just wondering if this is the guy buying or was it a scam? its the kind of reply that just throws a flag up for me and i would be cautious.

congrats and sorry at the same time for the pending sale.

I understand your feelings, but he seemed quite legit in subsequent emails. The only problem was that his son was not interested. I got the destinct feeling the origional poster was hoping to live a bit vicariously through his son :)

Good news is that I think my LR3 is sold. I have a buyer flying in today to drive it home if all goes well.

It is a standard LandRover part - Pet Cadge. I have one on my truck. You should be able to get one from any Land Rover Dealer - or online.

I have to say, in the past I was a bit leery of the "fly-in" or "I'll pay to have it shipped" buyer.

Twice, though, - once with a classy, built up full-size jeep, where the guy flew in, picked up a uhaul and towed it home, and again where I was sent a check for my asking, asked to drop off my subaru at a military vehicle shipping yard here in san diego,

....I have had the transaction exceed my expectations.

Sometimes people simply want what they want and are willing to do what it takes to get it.

Hope all goes well, Nathan, and that this is good for you and yours. :26_7_2:

Maybe. One never knows until cash in hand. With that being said, I wish Nathan the best.

My friend is on his way back to Northern California after buying Nathan's LR3.

Congrats on the quick sale. Beautiful rig. Can't wait to hear about your next build-up when the economy picks up. Good luck.
