call for price

In 2008 a Unimog crew cab with Ron Paul for President stickers
was offered for sale on eBay. This is apparently the second of
two crew cabs imported by Daimler Chrysler.

Anyone ever get the price?
Officially, $150K, if I recall correctly, but it's been around for a while, so figure something a good deal less, maybe $125-$130K, might be workable.

That's still a lot compared to some of the used U500s that have appeared lately, but this truck has almost no miles and the conversion to the double cab, whether you think it good or bad, was expensive. And if you really need a US-legal DoKa U500, this is pretty much your best/only option.

Let's see, I'd have to sell all the vehicles I own, put at least one child into hard labor, take a 3rd job, take a 3rd mortgage, and then at least I'd have the best Benz on the block :)

Here's one of the photos of the dual cab U500. It's still for sale at
Holcomb Freightliner in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. (800)776-2995

Yo I could fit the whole fam AND a camper on back and likely still achieve better MPG than from Cruisers and tow a new boat while I'm at it. Dang do I need to win the lottery!
