Any more feedback on the Kenda Klever RT's? I'm very interested in the 33"x10.5" for my stock-ish '02 Sierra.

The CV angles sure look good.

Keeping the cvs flat is the best part of a drop bracket lift . I love everything about the kendas so far , work amazing in the snow and ice when aired down , super thick sidewalls , great road manners and noise . Only downside is weight they weigh as much or more than a 12.50 wide tire .

That's great, I'm glad you continue to be happy with the Klever's... I really want to give them a try.

I think the weight is pretty fair, just depends on what you're comparing it to... it would seem that most RT tires are built on a MT (heavier) carcass.

My current Toyo CT 285/75r16 weighs 62 lbs... the 33x10.5r17 Klever RT weighs 47 lbs.

The Toyo MT 35x12.5r17 weighs in at 87 lbs, and your Klever RT 35x10.5r17 weighs significantly less than that at 68 lbs.

The 35 1050s actual weight is 70 pounds . Yeah Toyos tend to be the heaviest tire I’ve ever seen.

Smileyshaun,

Truck looks fantastic, so clean and elegant. Can't go wrong with a diff drop lift, keeps the CV angles way better than a level kit. Like what you did with chopping up the camper shell, looks like a great fit.

Under 70lbs is good for your 35s, my 37" Patagonia MTs are right around 70-74# mark. Toyos on the other hand, OMG, my 35/12.5/17 spare with 25% tread left is at nearly 80lbs.

And yes, once your 35s are work, go with 37s, you have the room with the diff drop lift.

Can't wait to see more pictures and adventures!

Went out with the little one today to do a little exploring and came to a conclusion, I’m done with trucks after having to backup for over a mile twice due to the rig being to long I think it’s time for a change to something a little shorter with 2 lockers and a 4:1 tcase .BE7D2F22-D895-4717-B563-D12007DA5C80.jpeg47F1317F-2709-4AF5-957E-AA74433A72A0.jpeg6080C247-8F6D-4DC4-81C5-80BBA90D1553.jpeg3E53FF1D-FB0B-4188-B065-3A4F2C618958.jpeg2801403F-2013-46AC-A7B7-775EE0612D72.jpegDFE4D242-4B0F-4227-B154-6CD2776C3CD3.jpeg65A10774-4CA3-4E65-ABB1-1FBED59F742A.jpeg61DF4B0F-DECA-4F24-BEFA-6DA441B487CA.jpeg3CAC4E9B-6731-4AEC-9076-D88CC63E4332.jpeg

I had a zj grand Cherokee that had a rubicon express 3” super flex kit on it and I just miss the smoothness of how that thing handled bad roads .

Definitely sounds like a Rubicon jeep is what you’re looking for. An FJ wouldn’t be bad either but unless a previous owner modified it, you’ll need some additional hardware to make it really trail worthy (which can definitely be fun if you enjoy modifying stuff). I prefer the 2006-2009 FJ’s because I like the earlier version of the v6. The later ones feel lethargic unless it’s supercharged.
