2006 Taco Fender Flares

Just installed 285-75 with offset steel rims which set the tire about 1 inch outside of oem flares. Has anyone installed after market flares on their late model taco? If so, can you give me some help or advice?

I would press you to consider new wheels - with the proper offset. The added width will not only poise a fender fitment problem, but also I would think it would add considerable stress to the wheel bearings.

I Line-X'ed my flares for durability off road reasons about a year ago. Two reasons were low cost and the sheer lack of aftermarket offerings then.

Post some pics of this setup - they might help us better help you!

No personal install experience myself, but I can give you this:

Which cab/box? I don't think Bushwacker makes them for short box double cabs since they are different on the bottom.

I think the only other option is one of the Icelandic flares but they are really, really expensive.
