Sure you did. Lee, right? I'm Scott, the young man that helped you air down Saturday morning. I also sold you that brake light lens.

Doh! OK, sorry I didn't make the connection to your forum name here Scott! Thanks for the help and the photo. I was assigned as a trail leader that morning and made it in time with your help.

Looking forward to seeing you again in February. And I hope to maybe ride along (for a bit) in your sweet 40 too!

It was definitely a fun time, it wouldn't be Jamboree without the cold and the rain. I met some really nice people for the first time and reconnected with quite a few old ones. Luckily it rained all the way home and most of the red clay is on I-59.

what happened to this FJ's front end???

he was going down sky view (i think that's what it's called) which is essentially a pretty deep descent with a 2' drop. in the rain and mud you would start down but your brakes would lock up almost instantly so you would have a controlled slide down, hit the drop, and then some more downhill steering. he hit the drop and popped out of gear, locked the brakes and slid into a tree. i was in front of him. sorry he hit the tree but glad he didn't hit me.

Man that was nasty...

Came in on Friday set up camp at Old Camp and packed up on Sat morning.

Good to hangout with some folks but I am not going back.

Too many places that are alot better around.

I was looking for you Saturday, Bomar, but I guess you were out already.
Yeah, I reckon this was my first and last. Cool event, but not my thing.

That looks like Brian's 40, but I don't know his last name or any forum names where he may hang out - does anyone else have some contact info for him? I have a perfectly good stock bumper (just like the one he creamed) that he can have for free if I could find him.
