Too many laws and too much oversight for my tastes, that's all.

My wife is active USA. Lots of rules and oversight for her as well. I think she finds it comforting, but that stuff drives me nuts.

Anyway, have a good PCS. Should be great for your kids! Sorry if I sound like a jaded old fart.

Well, to each his own and all that. I don't think the rules are more (well, that is kind of subjective, I guess) than in the USA...just different sometimes. And with things in the US right now....not so sure we are any "freer" than here...

shouldn't mistake military rules for civilian rules in Europe....apples & oranges, that.

anyway, a discussion for a different head I guess.....
