Ready to crush a BDR, TAT or RTW. The first owner built most of the bike and documented everything, the second owner flipped it and I am the third owner who purchased it in 2021 when it had 15,000 miles. I nearly doubled that since and enjoyed every mile. This is an incredible bike and I have had many. It has always been garaged and in my ownership, ridden year-round because I migrate with the seasons. I prefer this generation 690 because the bugs of the earlier years were worked out and electronics and rider interference of the later models is an unnecessary complication and are potential failure points.
This bike is set up for a tall rider. The seat height is 37”. The fairing is awesome! Excellent wind protection, no buffeting, and gives the bike a completely different look from factory. As with any off-road motorcycle it has bumps and scrapes. I have tried to present that in full disclosure in the photos. I have conducted all the maintenance since my ownership and use high quality lubricants and parts. I completed a valve adjustment about a month ago. The rollers were in excellent condition.
