That's a K1500 you've got there. LT tires are of course very good and very rugged. Might I suggest a load range C as opposed to load range E. The Load range C will be a little bit lighter. Not quite as rugged as an E range but certainly more robust that a street tire.

As for me a recently went with the standard BFG AT KO 2's (probably the last opportunity to by the 2's) and I love them. 285's on the GM steely 17 inch 7 spoke rims. They've been great all winter with very little MPG penalty, unless I put my foot in it

That's a 34.5" tire, not interested....
Yes, that is what the spec says. But in real life I set my speedometer adjustment for 33.25 to read correctly and it is spot on. if I was to do over, I would probably have done the LT275/70R18. Narrower tire in a slightly smaller profile. I have gone through the front end, replacing UCA, upgraded the steering, and shocks. The tires and pickup drive great and it goes where I want it to. I really like the Chevy platform and have driven fleet trucks up to 200K with nothing more than regular maintenance.
I really like your build.

I am currently leaning towards a 305/65R18, that is roughly 33.60" x 12.20"

The current size 295/65R18 is roughly 33.10" x 11.80"

The 305 size is also about $450 cheaper than a 295

Interesting weight increase also

295s are roughly 60-63 pounds each

305s are roughly 68-72 pounds each

......and I'm finally taking the truck to a local dealership on Monday, for the brake vacuum pump/belt replacement

Hopefully there's no issues and it's fully covered!

The service manager said they stock the pumps and have repaired a ton of trucks and SUVs with similar symptoms

Confirmed failed vacuum pump!

They are replacing the vacuum pump and the pump belt for free, under the special coverage warranty

At my request, they are also replacing the serpentine belt and A/C belt......for $130 total

110,000 miles, I figured whynot, since all the belts are being taken off anyways for the vacuum pump replacement

Took a 525 mile round trip venture

some wet trails, the worn out Duratracs still did good and the truck performed flawlessly

Brakes are back to normal and I averaged 17.0 mpg overall

Almost at 110,000 miles and will be ready for an oil change soon
