2017 F350 diesel spare questions

For 2017 F350 SD Long Bed Diesel do we know

1 - the largest diameter tire that will fit in the OEM location

2 - largest tire that will not rub with a 2”-2.5” lift max?

3 - can you run a tire on the front bumper with no overheating issues?

thank you

1 - Upon gained knowledge, 35" or a tad bigger is max. OTOH, some after market hitch manufacturers list a broad range of applicable model years from first generation Superdutys to current model year. It is quite possible that the extra beef for the 3" receiver pinches off the width which the '11 to '16 had to allow for a 37" tire. Side by side measuring might determine if the older style hitch would bolt on to the newer style, but would need to reduce to the 2.5" receiver.

2 - some say 37" with the correct width and backspace rim. Depends of you definition of no-rubbing. Some people put a caveat of except when _________ (full lock, off road, need to trim bumper, etc) 35" for sure in all instances won't rub.

3 - I wouldn't feel comfortable towing heavy in the summer.

11-16 can fit a full size 37” spare in factory location, but 17+ cannot without the Carli hitch.

I think the rest of your questions can be answered by Carli or CJC Offroad
