Thanks so much. Sorry for not getting back quicker. The holidays and family obligations happened. I've decided for now to stick with my overland Jeep setup. Sorry for bothering you with those questions. I thought I was serious but the deeper I get into the considerations the more I realize I'd like to stay as small as possible at least for now.

I actually had a hard time trying to buy a Truck like this , first issue was there was nothing old school like this out there that had all the work and heavy duty options Without all the stuff that eventually breaks or has problems like software or electrical gadgets.
so I ordered it from Ford from a blank sheet with everything the way I wanted like manual transfer case to the 11500 lb gvwr 18 inch Heavy duty steel wheels, i was even able to get manual only locking hubs which I never see on trucks anymore.

I was going to ask how it was you found (...in this case it turns out: created) one that was spec'd out this way. Did you build the back up // double battery system yourself?

Looks like Battery Tenders, wondering about any other items on that battery set-up list ! GLWS

The truck came with dual heavy duty batteries and dual extra heavy duty alternators
I ordered it that way so It Could handle running a winch easily
The battery tenders were installed to keep batteries in good shape as the truck was not going to be used for everyday use.
The battery blanket warmers were just kinda for the future if I ever took it anywhere cold but I have tried them and they work amazing.
