Getting back on here after a few years.

I’ve since let the Jeep sit for a couple years after having some issues with it. I purchased a 2020 Ford Ranger XLT FX4 just before Covid influenced the price hike and availability.

One of the first things I did was start exploring and off-roading stock. I wanted to see how capable it was as a blank canvas. It actually was pretty capable. Coming from a JKU on 37s I knew it wouldn’t go over the same
I started working on was building a bed rack for the truck for a tent.

Sent the files over to a local laser shop and then found a company who could form the 3/16” steel vertical supports for me. Those things were pretty heavy but I opted for steel at first as a cheap prototype.

Then the fun started happening! BFGoodrich sent me some 35” KM3s to put in the truck. Iwent with RRW RR7-H Beadlock wheels with the Apex Rapid Valves.

I will be redesigning the tail light area as soon as the parts come back from the laser shop. I have to get rid of this dump truck look haha!

I also like this idea of hiding the fuel in the rear corner storage. So I’ll extend the fuel neck to the rear corner instead of putting it in the front headboard area. I still plan to make a mount for water fill and antenna mounts on the headboard.
