31s and 4 inch lift on JK

160 bucks and get the Teraflex leveling kit that gives you 2" in front and 1" in the rear. At least until you get the tires to match the 4" lift. Here's mine with the stock 32's and the leveling kit

The jk is a lot different than the older rigs. You can run 33s or 35s on stock suspension with fenders.
Like a said, with a 4" lift you need adjustable control arms (or brackets), ideally high steer drag link and track bar brackets (axle side is better), front driveshaft, exhaust y pipe mods, and probably a rear shaft before long. The cost of a GOOD lift isn't worth it for smaller than stock tires.
2" lift with 33s is a pretty good look, very capable and affordable. It will cost too much in the long run to make the 4" lift work WELL. The AEV 3.5" lift is supposed to be one of the best handling lifts, yet I've spent about $1200 on stronger steering/front suspension upgrades to make it handle right after 9k miles on 35s. Plus an aftermarket driveshaft and aftermarket exhaust y-pipe for clearance. IMO 3.5" is more than enough height for 35s even.

Agree with Brianwilson. I went AEV 2.5, drop brackets, and 34" for all the reasons he mentioned. Handles perfect. Looks great.

AdventureIQ are you doing the 2" spacer kit or the 2.5" suspension?

I just had a 1.5 TeraFlex coil system instal, kept my stock Factory shocks. So far, I am thrilled. All under $900. I wish to remain as stock as practical this time around.
