Speaking of sunny florida. Hows the Tampa area for puttin down roots? It could happen!
I've only been there once, but I have a friend who lives there and he seems to like it. He's a well driller and owns his own business, so he lives out away from the city limits on a big farm type setup.
Hotter there than it is here, and of course hurricanes are always a possibility, but we get more than they do. And, you may have learn Spanish since the Cuban Trade Embargo has been lifted.
Sounds like Momma has already made her choice!
