4x4 Roll Over During Land Ops Event - Recovered

LandOps

Observer
At Cuddeback lake, California. At the end of our daytime run and mesh node testing project
a recreational off road driver experienced a roll over due to the combination of high speed driving on a not-dry-lake and thick mud.
The Land Ops teams just happened to be there in force immediately after the incident.

Enjoy the video report of the whole event.

The ingredients for this flip was high speed on a partially dry lake. The south end of Cuddeback lake remains
pooled with water as the sun slowly evaporates the lake. It appears mostly dry. Since the lake is so large people
get going at very high speed. In the aerial video you can see the skid marks in the mud.

Good video Chris...that guy was fortunate that our Land Ops group rolled up when we did. Colorado driver, rental truck, booze, muddy lake, and inexperience made for what could have been a lot worse. His young son was lucky.
