Here is my set up. Two large drawers on the right with a smaller drawer on the left with room for a fridge. Also using a wagon gear tailgate storage unit for tools and smaller items.

^ Really like that set up. I'm looking to do a very similar build on my Rover. Just need to figure out where to make room for a water Jerry can

Thanks! It really is nice having everything in its place. I keep all my gear in the truck at all times packed away ready for my next adventure.

Still a work in progress but upright spare tire carrier and platform combo. Still need to build a drawer to go under the platform. Framework is all steel bolted to existing captured nuts, with 3/4" plywood on the platform.

This is not the best picture, but it works. The second picture, shows the mount.

Some very nice solutions being shared, keep the pics coming.

My goal was to come up with a solution to be able to fit all of our families "stuff" for 2-4 day adventures or longer if I go solo. I currently have the spare upright and strapped on the left hand side in the cargo area. Not having a rear bumper this just seems like the best place and position for storing and ease of access for the spare when needed. The fuel was moved up on the rack, moved the RTT forward around 4 inches. Now have space for the fuel and at least 3 storage cases on the rear of the rack. Positioned the 60" Hi-Lift to the left of the spare and secured it in 5 separate spots for rattle free storage on the inside. My aluminum case that had all my spares and fluids did not work in the equation so every thing was moved to a plastic case up on the roof rack. Everything else is just a matter of positioning and stacking like a puzzle. This allows us to remove all non essentials and keep the weight down for daily driving. What I may be looking into building is a deck floor with adjustable tie downs for better securing of the load and a cargo barrier as well. When fully loaded with all this "stuff" the rear end sags a little bit may have to look into 864's for the rear. To sum it up rear bumper, trailer, or drawers not required just highly desired for us. :)

To each his own. I've always found that I tend to tailor my packing to the size of the container, whether it's a suitcase or LC. Smal suitcase = no junk. Big suitcase = lots o' junk. I do like your jigsaw puzzle packing job though.

That 80 of yours in a beauty, BTW. What seat covers do you have on the front seats? Where'd you buy them?
