Welp I think the injection pump has to come back off again, after numerous adjustments and what not it still doesn't fuel near as hard as it did. Today I'll pull it off and go through it with a fine tooth comb and see if I can figure out what went wrong. After having numerous VE's apart this is the only one that has ever gave me any fits afterward.

So we dug into the pump and couldn't find anything wrong with it so I reassembled it and put it back on the truck. When I fired it it ran like total crap down low but it ran awesome up top but it had a terrible lope to it which led me to believe maybe it got out of time on the gear so I pulled the front skin off but everything was good there so we buttoned that back up and pulled the pump off fr the 4th time this week. I tore the pump down and found extreme carnage, somthing musta slipped outta place on reassembly. I ended up building another pump but this one still doesn't fuel that great but it does have good throttle response and seem t run real nice but just doesn't have the power it had. I will end up building another n/ic pump for the truck.

$#!t happens though. I did however score another N/IC pump so hopefully after get that on it will run like it did or better.

When you go through you pump make sure you do plenty of research and keep plenty of exploded views handy if your not familiar with a pump.

Are you timing the pump the proper way? I don't know the proper procedure, but I did read it was important in the manual. I'm glad that mine doesn't leak, thanks for posting pictures

Well, just got done pulling the VE off for the 5th time in a week. We just put a good old 103 pump I built back on the 90 and now it runs real good again. Seat of the pants dyno says its probably back up around 350-370hp.

Hi Andrew, how are you BFGs doing in the snow now that they are a bit older? I'm more interested in on road use. I know they will be fine in the deeper stuff. I am considering them in 255/85R16 or 255/80R17 for my future dually.

Sorry to see ole blacky got hit. I'm sure you'll have it fixed in short order...

They're alright, depends on the snow. I've noticed the KM2s lack lateral grip so be careful around corners. When I went on the Idaho trip last year they did good in the snow covered mountain roads. They would probably do much better if I aired em down a touch. I also run around with about 1000lbs of suitcase weights in the back in the winter months along with a heavy deep tool box.

btw they have between 8 and 9/32s with around 32,000 on em.

Welp dyno'd this old pig today, out of runs highest hp was 330 and highest TQ was 798 on a dyno they call the dreamcrusher. This dyno leaves a lot of guys ego's deflated.

I did however have the highest TQ of the day
