1995 Ford F150 XLT 4x4 $2000

Tan/ white, power stuff, auto, manual shift tcase, manual hubs, xcab, short box, 5.8L 351w 194,1xx, hitch, airbags in rear.

I bought this truck in Montana and have been traveling out west in it. Good truck, needs a few things, could all be done in a weekend or two with tools and a place to work on it. My tools got stolen out of truck in Oregon. Back to overlanding on foot.

New in past 3 months-
Drums, shoes, wheel cyls, hardware kit rear.
Rotors, pads, bearings, seals, u-joints all 3 up front - TTB
New rear driveshaft u-joints
Napa premium headlights
Rain-x wipers
Water pump
Coolant flush
Oil change
Coolant sensor
Low mileage junkyard tcase
Tcase drain and fill with synthetic ATF
Tcase output yoke seal
Battery is a year old

Other stuff-
Old school pioneer cd player
It's pretty solid, tiny rust bubbles in a few areas.
Vista high top fiberglass shell with screens and sliding windows
The A/C does work, but could use a recharge, I've put in one can.
It's a work/ ranch/ farm truck, plenty of life left, just needs a clean up.
Its never failed to start, or left me stranded.
4x4 works great
Get 15-16 mpg, but i never go over 65, take it easy.
Got receipts for parts/ work
Clean and clear Montana title in my name.
Cruise doesn't work but everything else does- power windows, locks, horn, tilt, etc.
Aluminum steps, took one off, tools got stolen, other still on.

Issues-
Steering is loose - upper steering shaft ujoint/ shim
Big windshield crack across sight line.
The drivers side interior door handle broke.
Needs a muffler and tailpipe, it's a little loud.
Dent in driver's side fender, and other places.
Jumpy speedo, traced to vss needing replacement.
Oil pan gasket leaks
Got some squeaks, rattles, bumps, as any old truck does.

What comes with it-
Some fluids, gas can, big Tupperware box with some stuff for it, (2) keys, factory jack, fuses, etc.

CALLS only. I won't respond to texts or emails. Price is firm. Read the whole ad and then call. I'm currently located near Helper, Utah. Ill meet you in a public place. I ride along with test drives. It's a work/ farm/ ranch truck, thats needs some stuff. As is. Judging by vehicle prices, you won't find anything that runs and drives for close to it.

Thanks Colter, for this delightful antidote to the usual absurd parade of overpriced, overbuilt, overhyped, over-the-top rigs we see on this site. It seems that many folks have lost sight of the fact that these are just vehicles and we are just going camping in them. They are not meant to be luxury condos-on-wheels that you can drag into the backcountry and boost your ego. Maybe this overlanding phenomenon is the culmination of a slick marketing campaign, but I ain't buyin' it, and these days I'm looking at it for entertainment. A ranch truck...priceless. Cowboy up, y'all!
