99 4Runner iPad mount

Hey all,

I just snagged an iPad that I plan to use for GPS/navigation in my 4Runner. I've got the software all figured out so now the question is how to mount it. I'm looking at the proclip dash mount and combining that with a ram mount. I'm concerned that much leverage will cause issues with the mount or my dash. Does anyone have experience with this sort of setup?

yes, u can see the springs I added there on the top pic . 2 on the cradle , and 2 from the cradle to the dashboard , just to firm everything up even more.

Full size iPad or mini? I run an 8" windows tablet on a rig connected to a GoPro sticky mount next t my stereo. Runs great, but probably not robust enough for a full sized iPad. Can provide more details if you're interested.
