Rattler
Thornton Melon's Kid
My wife, son and I recently had a chance to go visit my sister and her family in Eppstein, Gemany for a couple weeks. I was to Sweden a few years ago to participate on a Swedish reality show so it wasn't my first trip to Europe but still a lot of fun! While there we visited Nuremberg, Rothenberg, Stutgart, Limberg and a few other places. I bought a Sigma 18-200 f/3.5 lens for my Canon T2i for the trip to save on lugging a couple lenses around. I could have wandered around those old churches for hours taking pics. I ended up with @ 1800 when I got home. Here are a few.
Marktkirche Evangelical Church in Wiesbaden
Porsche 911s have been my favorite car since I was a kid. Needless to say, a trip to the Porsche Museum was in order! This was taken in front of the museum in it's mirrored roof panels.
One of the several castles we visited.
A statue in front of the Statts Theater in Wiesbaden.
Some figures inside St. George's Cathedral in Limburg.
A view from the walls inside of Rothenberg.
This is where Hitler made several speeches, the Nazi Party Parade Grounds. It was very creepy to stand right where he did! Now it is where they hold concerts and auto races.
