A few trailer questions for the guru's...

also i'm thinking of doing a "sub frame" out of 1 1/2" 1/8" wall tubing with the structural frame made of 2"x3" 3/16" wall tube and the tongue 2 1/2" square 1/4" wall.

the exterior will be skinned in sheetmetal with a solid roof with attachments for a RTT sometime down the road.

thanks.. those are some good links, looks like i should be fine with what i'm thinking, probably even over kill but thats not always a bad thing..

i've got some basic drawings of the frame and whatnot on paper, at some point i'm gonna try and draw them up on the computer so you guys can take a look at them and give me any feedback...


we did a quick one night camp this past weekend at a buddies place down by the river and just about everything we did made wish we already had the trailer done...
