I know his father. Nothing like starting the adventure at age 10!

Not too old either

And to prove that you are never too old:

71 year old climbs Everest

He was 71 years, 2 months and 2 days old when he reached the 8,850-meter (29,035-foot) peak on May 22, beating the previous record set last year by another Japanese climber, Takao Arayama, who was 70 years, 7 months and 13 days old.

So no complaining about being "old" at 50, or even 60 :)

And no complaining that your kids hold you back from an adventure either.

That's awesome. Our 9 year old completed her first 14'ner last year. She plans on doing several more next summer with us.

That is so amazing and it makes me excited to have a child. That poor kid of mine has no idea what he is up for. No family trips to a resort for him! :26_7_2:

Something tells me your expedition vehicle won't support playing video games on the ceiling LCD monitor either. And they might actually be forced to look outside and appreciate the scenery - an experience being denied too many kids today.

Holy resurrection. Bringing back the dead today....

At whom is that pointed?
After writing a reply to your question, I decided to delete it, in the interest of not wanting to create another deluge of non-sensical ranting PM's to all of the mods. So I'll just send you a link via PM.

See how PC I can be?
