Yeah, just go out there. I usually go out a day or two before the rest of the group to reserve a BLM free area. It can get a bit busy on holiday weekends and the better places go quickly. I usually go to the top of a hill with a book and a beer. Read, reflect and enjoy what I observe. It's a good time to think about your life and the world.

All in all, I wish I was there right now. This years plan is to head about 30 miles East of here to the Grasslands for Thanksgiving with our group instad of heading to the Moab area as we have done for many years. I suppose I could head out to my yard with a book and a cocktail and reflect on the leaves falling. Just not the same somehow.
