Access steps/ladder info / pics request

Newbie here from the U.K.
Just starting a conversion of an RB44 (Reynolds boughton 44) I've been looking at the build threads for some time now, but I've seen very few pictures of the access ladders/steps for the camper body. I'm looking for steps rather than a ladder type as my dog needs to get access to the back, which the floor is 3' high. And before you say, just pick him up, he's a 170lb Newfoundland.
Any pics/ideas on a folding/flat pack stair system, I've seen the scissor type stairs you can buy, but they seem a bit steep and maybe a bit flimsy.

the first thing that comes to mind is the M35 boarding ladders. It may be a little more difficult to get on that side of the pond. I would look into what the military used to get into the larger trucks over there. A lot of times the military surplus items are inexpensive and very robust.
