AEV hi-lift carrier question

Hey all,

I am wanting to move my hi-lift jack from the hood mounted solution I have now to the rear tire carrier with the AEV hi-lift carrier they make. Regarding the setup, is it a direct bolt-on to the two support tubes of the carrier or is there drilling required?

I read the directions online and if I am correct, the only thing that needs to be drilled would be the pull pal for the mounting hook. But if I would just run the hi-lift it should be a direct bolt on right?

I am kinda paranoid when it comes to drilling as a certain drop down table left me with four holes in my tailgate and didn't work... (cough cough Frontrunner cough cough)

Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Direct bolt on! No drilling is required for installation.
