Aftermarket Part Origins

Very few Chinese car parts have turned out well for me, and there is little method of telling where this stuff was made without ordering it. As such -I bring you the Aftermarket Part Origins Thread!

I hope for this thread to possibly become a sticky in time. Please post here parts you have received aftermarket and what their country of origin is. Please don't post commentary other than related to the part you received - I'd like this to be as high calorie as possible.

Please note that parts suppliers change the origin frequently so this list is by no means authoritative.

Yes - there is. Most parts suppliers will change the parts numbers at least when their factory line changes. It gives you a pretty good chance of getting a part that wasn't made in China. It is a warning though that it may not all work out perfectly.

Updates:
DEA transmission mount
Made in Thailand
Seemed to be good quality

Additional update on the Raybestos control arms - they had the exact same flaw as the Chinese arms - unusable weld nuts for the bump stops. They were so far off center I had mill the arms to get a bolt to fit.
