Hi Everyone,
My name is Kyle Bell and I'm one of the owners of Air Down Gear Up. We specialize in premium vehicle storage, sleeping and kitchen systems and we are excited to share our latest offering! We have had the opportunity to create a kitchen and storage system to be used with a Skinny Guy Camper in a Jeep Gladiator. We have been moving into the truck camper space more and more, if anyone is curious there's a link to our Super Pacific 'galley' style truck system below.

From what we can tell, the Skinny Guy Campers seem awesome and present a somewhat unique offering for a pop-up style camper in a truck. These fully-enclosed pop ups qualify as 'RVs', provide a great, fast deploying sleeping solution and are reasonably lightweight. Probably the most unique aspect of them is the fact that the truck bed is left unoccupied, which is where we come in! We worked with Nomad Outfitters in Denver for some inputs on what their customers are asking for and developed a system we are very proud of.

Our goal for this system was to provide a full-functioning kitchen and as much storage as we could. As with all of our systems, this systems starts with a full aluminum frame, and uses all threaded fasteners; absolutely no wood screws used anywhere in our designs! As a basic overview of our system:
  • Kitchen: Featuring a built-in, 3 burner cook partner stove hard-mounted, A storage bin(for your pots, pans, plates, etc), a cut and heat resistant pull-out table with collapsible sink and integrated dometic faucet base. Great for prepping your food!
  • Deep storage drawer: Beside the kitchen, we have a 'standard' storage drawer with over 60inches of length. This provides ample space for all your gear! Also available with optional slide out table, adding even more quick deploying work surface
  • Narrow storage tray: Above the kitchen/drawer, we included a full-width, short drawer. This is a great place for all your smaller, longer items.
We'll have this at the Sportsmans Expo in Denver the weekend of 12 Jan, so if you're in the area come check it out! We'll also be updating this with additional pictures at a later date.

So! What other details would everyone like to know? We're anxious to see what people think!
