It's the same recall that's been in effect for the last couple of years. The problem is not all the owners have taken the vehicle in for the recall, so NHTSA keeps putting out the recall.
Yeah, I'm one of the guilty ones. It mainly effects the Jeeps in the rust belt and high humidity areas. And being in dry Arizona, I've kept putting it off till I have free time. Which I now have more of, so I need to get busy, get off my duff, and take it in.
X2 on being guilty, whoops. The problem here is that every time I have called the stealership about the recall, the part has never been in so I finally just said to heck with it.
I've always had that fear (with the AB light on) that the AB would actually just go off for no reason. Of course everyone's always saying "Nooooo, that could never happen" ..... but here it is.
