Over on the other Ammo Can thread someone mentioned making one into a flashlight and I found this image on Google.
It uses an older halogen light and I thought of several more modern changes one could do.
First is to use a flushmount LED light for extra battery life and brighter light with no bulbs.
Then grab a cheap agm atv battery for power.
Finally, I would use a small 4" boat speaker on the other end and have it wired a bluetooth/aux cord capable receiver inside the lid.
Like Ammo Audio has.
This would allow music (if you wanted to ruin the outdoors experience) or the ability for predator calling. As well as charging any usb powered devices. There may also be a way to run jumper cables out if you are using an ATV or snowmachine.
Use a trickle charger at home to keep the battery topped off and you're set!
