I just googled "CJ3B spring hangers/shackles". One order was Rock Auto, one JC Whitney, one Oconeeoff-road, but all bought thru e-bay.
CJ3B Front hangers-1827005 X 2 Rock Auto
CJ3B Rear Hangers-18270.03 X 2 JC Whitney
Stock/CJ3B Shackles- 18270.12 and 18270.13 Oconeeoff-road

I love the trailer. I have an old Bantam T3-C that I am redoing. Do you have the part numbers for the bearings, races, seals, etc that you ordered?

I think we have different spindles. I saw diff part#s on peoples threads when I googled and got confusing info. I would do what I did, remove bearings, races and seals from one side and get the #s off of them to order. I bought mine thru a neighbor, but at a local bearing store and they had them in-stock. My store parts #s are diff than whats on the bearings. My order came in correct. I've already thrown away my old bearings and #s list. I didn't list Part#s in my build to add to the confusion.

Okay, thanks.

Today installed the Lunette assembly, bumpstops, springs to the front hangers, and threaded the trailer wiring thru split loom and the frame. Believe it or not, but I bought a mixed grommet set from HF and the 2 largest ones actually fit the trailer perfectly! Tomorrow is some splicing and soldering. The shackles have shipped too.

Finished the trailer wiring and light installs. Painted and installed the tub drains. Installed the reflectors. Shackles are due in tomorrow.

I assume the new boxed steel a-frame tongue is extended to its limit length wise and still get the geometry/angle correct to mate the lunette assembly…
Have box off my M416 and am exactly at this stage myself…trying to figure how much can I add and still get the angle right for the lunette assemble. Looks like you have already done the math.
Mind if I ask the length of each piece of box steel?

The total length of each tube is 59", which is +19". It would have been 60", but I didn't realize that the forward end of the lunette mount angles out the last inch until after I drilled the holes. After I cut an inch off of the rail, it caused the angle to the lunette to not be perfect, but tightening the safety chain bolt drew it in. You might need to make your lengths less than 59" for the angle to be perfect, maybe 58". I had already trimmed the inner rear of the rail to fit square into the trailer's frame, but trimming the outer side might have allowed a better angle for the 59" or even 60" length. Drill lunette holes while ensuring the rails sit back 1", you'll see what I mean. Using even shorter rails opens up more possibilities of using stock front frame holes. Basically, mount the lunette first, then determine where to mount to the frame, then cut the rail's frame ends to fit.
See the gap in the pic. The 6 rail to frame bolts in white circles.

Shackles came in today so got the suspension and axle on. Then put the tub on and ran into a snag, the front tub drain needs to be entirely removed to clear my extended rail. I'll use a compression plug in it's place. I also need to notch the lower tub lips to clear the side marker lights.

It actually doesn't look too bad now that it's on the road.
I had to take the tub off to cut/grind down, and pound in the front drainhousing. I cut the rubber plug in half and taped it into the hole as the tongue rail will secure it in place. I also found I routed some of the wiring that interfered with the tub ribs, so a reroute ensued. Since my frame has a slight bow to it, it was not fun trying to align the tub's tab holes, but I got all but the 2 center rib holes. Hopefully a full load will line them up.
Sometime ago this trailer must have been ran into because during disassembly and rebuild I found the frame had slight damage, the shock mounts were bent, the shackles were bent, and today, I had to straighten the fenders. When I got it, I couldn't tell because someone had camoflaged the whole trailer in some rubberized black paint.
Still looking for cheap 31/10.5/15 tires and build a top. Fenders after the tires. Garage is clean again!

It will look great behind your jeep.

Lots of work between the before and after!

Great job.

Post a picture with the jeep, I want to see how it sits.

Yesterday drilled 4 new holes in the hitch extension so it sits flush in the hitch and the pintle hitch goes in as far as possible in the extension. I also wacked off half of the pintle attachment plate and my neighbor welded in a new brace. Today I painted the work and mounted it all up. With the length it is at now, the spare tire just clears the pintle when opening the door. Hopefully 31" trailer tires allow me to lower the pintle one more set of holes so I can get rid of the extension. Tomorrow I'm hitching up the trailer for a recycle run and find a sheet of wood for a top.
