Any news on when ARB's new 'JACK' will be available in US?

I would like to see accessories available for this jack. I would hope so if they intend on marketing it against the hi-lift. The accessories are what makes the hi-lift what it is. The hi-lift is more than just a jack.

Looks like it will have the same tip over, fall off & stability issues of nearly every bumper jack that I have ever seen/used.
I'll keep using the hydraulic/bottle axle/frame jacks.

I like the functionality of it, just not the price tag. 995Aussie dollars is crazy. Who in their right mind would pay that!! Besides, it would mean we would have to change all of our bumper mounts to mount this.

Unfortunately, I think options for good strong jacks will be limited by liability concerns. I've always wondered why someone hasn't just copied the Hi-Lift using forged 7075 aluminum for the beam, 6061 for the handle, etc. Lots of weight could be saved, and still keep the jack in the realm of reason price wise. A very light #4,000 pound version would be great for most of us.

Just wait 6 months or so. Some overland team/adventure media group/travel blogger who is 55+ grand in debt and paying apartment rent will have to sell their jack in it's "unused, only been mounted to our gobi rack" condition for hundreds less.

Well, they haven't made the jack mechanism in aluminum but AGM has done an aluminum beam for about half the cost of the ARB jack.

Hi-Lift or the new ARB jack is arguably one of the most unsafe ways to service or change a tire. Another obvious down fall IMO is its not mechanical and add in the suggested cost I cant see any reason to own one.

A factory Toyota jack with an Jack Adapter is a much more reliable and safe way to service or change a tire.

I spoke with Duffy yesterday at ARB in Auburn, WA., and I asked if they will have ways to mount it to the front bumper like I have my Hi-Lift, and they will have mounting solutions later.
I am sure others will too.

Anyways, they released a short video this morning on the Jack.
I would be interested in this if the price was right, so much lighter than a Hi-Lift, and I bet it does not rattle like crazy either.
I dig the lettered footprint it leaves behind too :)
