Any one know a photographer in Asheville?

The wife and I are going to Asheville next month for our 10 year aniv. We planed to renew our vows at the top of Chimney Rock NP. It's just going to be me, my wife, and a reverend, with no one else. We have everyone lined up except the photographer. The only people we have found have "packages" that start at $1400. We understand the time, equipment, processing costs money, but would like to find a good photographer without a "wedding package deal". I tried to convince the wife that I could just bring the Cannon G9 and the tripod, and set it up to take pictures every 10 seconds, but she didn't go for that.

Any one have any ideas?

Nppa?

NPPA (www.nppa.org) is the professional organization of mainly newspaper photographers, I think they have a "find a photographer" search engine.

But I like the G9 idea, that is a feature the G9 has over my G7.

they do have a "find of photographer" area. i am a member, but im up in washington state.
